Long-running youth show InFocus handed the microphone to Auckland high school students  including a number of emerging screen talents. The award-winning TV3 show reported on everything from current affairs to music. The original presenters were actor/singer Stephanie Tauevihi, and Howick College student Tony Bartlett. The reporting/presenting team included Stacey Morrison (What Now?), Robert Rakete (Ready to Roll), and actors Tyler Jane (Outrageous Fortune) and Kayte Ferguson (Spin Doctors). InFocus debuted as part of the lineup of children's programming on The Early Bird Show, before getting its own slot on Sundays.
