Namaste New Zealand (8) - Series One, Episode Eight

Presented by Kadambari Raghukumar and Aaditya Singh, Namaste NZ celebrates the Indian migrant experience in Aotearoa. In the final episode of the first season, the duo interview Satya Dutt — President of the Hindi Language & Cultural Trust NZ — before visiting members of the Indian community living throughout New Zealand. Featured are a father/son duo who play the traditional drum: the tabla, a family who farm vegetables, and an independent jeweller. As is customary of Namaste, there is also a mouth-watering cooking segment: Krishan Muthu prepares a crab curry in Fijian-Indian style. 

We'd like it to be included in the curriculum and be taught to students. Hindi is the third most spoken language in Auckland and fourth in New Zealand.
