Studio 2

Television, 2004–2010

Long-running kids slot Studio 2 screened on weekdays after school on TV2, from 2004 to 2010. Debuting in March 2004, it included contests, cartoons (e.g. SpongeBob SquarePants), the Qantas-nominated Goober Brothers, games and interviews. A Saturday version screened in 2007 in tandem with website The Hub — a pioneering example of transmedia, where hosts and kids could interact. Taking turns as co-presenter were Matt Gibb, Jordan Vandermade, Dayna Vawdrey, and Vicki Lin. Guests included Helen Clark and SpongeBob actor Rodger Bumpass. Produced by Taylormade Media, the show was renamed Studio 2 Live in its final year.
