What is this dance they were doing in the third part of the documentary? Where they were holding hands and chanting and moving in a circle? Thank you to whoever can tell me!

This is our raw Pakeha New Zealand humanity revealed. Sylvia deserved better of us New Zealanders than she has received. But she offers to us a mirror in which we might better view ourselves - if we dare. The metaphor of the Victorian crinoline still draped over our head is as ugly as is required even if we should somehow learn how to think more kindly of ourselves.

Amazing women and educationist. It would be good if the movie Sylvia 1985 was aired on NZ TV. As we need to push for our NZ famous people to be promoted to the new generation of New Zealanders.

It is so incredible to see such an amazing icon in my world, alive in hers. It's made it real.
