After the death of his dad, 10-year-old Tom (Bentley Storteboom) starts seeing the world a little differently: the clock, his breakfast, even a cheese grater all have something to say. Tom finds a kindred spirit in Allie (Skywalker Hughes), who shares his imaginary friends, but his mum (Anna Faris) and stepdad (Karl Urban) are worried. When Tom's stepdad decides it's time to clear out his late father's belongings, Tom and Allie must race to save every object he's come to call a friend.
