All Black winger Jonah Lomu is often toted as one of New Zealand rugby's first international superstars — and as this documentary explains, "man, his life was complicated." As well as his incredible sporting career, this feature-length doco also covers his childhood in Tonga, meteoric rise to fame, health problems, family life and personal politics. Featuring archival interviews with Lomu, the film also includes new interviews with his family, colleagues and sports commentators. Lomu was co-directed by Vea Mafile'o (For My Father's Kingdom) and Gavin Fitzgerald.
