About
This frenetic female forward feature is set on Valentine's Day. Singing telegram company Send-a-Gorilla is short-staffed and drowning in orders from Wellingtonians of all stripes, including those with revenge in mind. The story idea came from co-star Perry Piercy, who had done time as a singer for hire. In this excerpt, the telegram trio witness another kind of telegram in-between delivering their own, and Clare (Carmel McGlone) finds herself doing a gorillagram for her ex's new girlfriend. Director Melanie Rodriga (Trial Run) worked with many of the Send a Gorilla cast and crew on TV's The Marching Girls.
