About
Paranormal tween series Little Apocalypse follows the misadventures of teenage witch Leith (Linus Lloyd) as they juggle the demands of young love, a poltergeist (Jenny Mingxi Easton), and a pesky little sister (Roshaniah Leo'o). Directed by sisters Sally and Elsie Bollinger of The Candle Wasters collective (Happy Playland, Bright Summer Night), they co-created the show with producer Thomas Coppell (Shmeat, Big Girls Don't Cry). It ran for one season on TV2, and was the first children's show in Aotearoa to have openly queer protagonists.
