The playful poltergeist Sunny (Jenny Mingxi Easton) is loving it at Nan's house, but Leith and Cole (Roshaniah Leo'o) aren't so sure. Leith (Linus Lloyd) is anxious to discover that the portal in his wardrobe also released a number of Watchers into their home — strange little paranormal creatures that can drain energy. As he tries to keep them away from Cole, she is on her own mission to understand Sunny's ghostly ways. Made for and by the rainbow community, Little Apocalypse was the first New Zealand's kids' series to have an openly queer protagonist.
