In late 2021 iconic kids show What Now? reached a momentous 40 years on New Zealand television. In this two-hour special, presenters Erin Wells, Stella Maris and Joseph Coughlan celebrate the major birthday live from the show's Christchurch studio. Many beloved past presenters like Props Boy, Jason Fa'afoi and Anthony Samuels make appearances, and Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern even sends a video message. The programme packs in the special features that What Now? has become famous for over the years; original songs, wacky comedy skits, physical challenges and lots and lots of gunge.
