Long-running childrens show What Now? is a Kiwi television institution. Shot before a live audience on weekend mornings, it was the first local TV show to use live phone-ins. Aimed at a primary school audience, it features challenges that can see the loser getting 'gunged'. The show's roll call of presenters includes Steve Parr, Simon Barnett, Jason Gunn, Michèle A'Court, Shavaughn Ruakere, Tamati Coffey and Antonia Prebble. 'Get Out of Your Lazy Bed' by Matt Bianco is the theme song remembered by generations of Kiwi kids.
