Interview – 2010

Tammy Davis (Ngāti Rangi, Ātihaunui-a-Pāpārangi) grew up in Raetihi. He studied acting at Northland Polytechnic before landing a role in Once Were Warriors sequel What Becomes of the Broken Hearted? Following supporting roles in Whale Rider, and TV shows Jacksons Wharf and The Market, he featured in hit movie Black Sheep, and Taika Waititi short film Tama Tū, before securing the role of Munter in classic TV show Outrageous Fortune

What I did is I made him accessable, and even though he breaks the law and stuff like that, I just made him a normal person  . . .  I didn't make him a character, I just made him a normal person that we all know.
