When gifted surgeon Elizabeth Taylor (American actor/director Elizabeth Banks) assumes responsibility for a fatal, surgical error by her colleague (Richard Crouchley from David Bain drama Black Hands) she finds herself distanced by hospital management and targeted by the media. Director Christine Jeffs (Rain, Sunshine Cleaning) adapted her script from Kiwi author Carl Shuker's acclaimed novel of the same name. In this trailer grieving parents (Rena Owen and Matthew Sutherland) question their daughter's death, and Dr Taylor grapples with issues of moral accountability and professional damage.
It's a bad outcome. She was likely never going to make it.– Surgeon Elizabeth Taylor (Elizabeth Banks) to colleague Richard (Richard Crouchley) after losing their patient
