Aaradhna

Soul/R&B singer Aaradhna was born in Wellington to Samoan and Indian parents. She made her recording debut in 2004 with Adeaze on chart topping single ‘Getting Stronger’. Her solo album I Love You was released by label Dawn Raid in 2006; it spawned two top five singles, 'Down Time' and 'I Love You Too'. Covers album Sweet Soul Music followed, and then Treble and Reverb (2012), an album conceived while she was living in Romania. In 2016 Aaradhna turned down a Best Hip Hop Artist award for album Brown Girl, saying she was not a hip hop artist and that she was "placed in the category of brown people."
