Everybody Let's Dance

Tina Cross , Music Video – 1979

Bright, bold, and built for the dance floor, Everybody Let’s Dance sees Tina Cross turn the energy all the way up in this slice of late 70s disco. Cross takes the stage beneath a kaleidoscope of coloured lights and a spinning disco ball, performing from a raised podium while an energetic crowd swirls around her. The performance was filmed at Avalon Studios for music television series Ready to Roll’s 1979 Christmas special. The funky disco hit was the most successful single from Cross’s debut album You Can Do It, reaching number 13 on the RIANZ singles chart. It stayed in the charts for 13 weeks.

Come on now, we can go to town, find a disco spot, where the music's hot. Everybody, join the party, dance!
– Lyrics from Everybody Let's Dance
