From the Album Waiata Anthems (2022)

In this performance video, band Kora (in their 2022 line-up) play 'Kia Arohatia Tatou' — the te reo Māori version of their song 'All You Need'. The track was recorded in conjunction with Waiata Anthems, a series that follows popular New Zealand acts as they record a song in te reo Māori. The show explores the artists' personal journeys with the language. In the season two episode on the recording of 'Kia Arohatia Tatou', singer Fran Kora returns to Tūhoe country and faces his fear of speaking te reo. The song's lyrics speak to the importance of love and family, in a world dominated by demands and pressures.
