The Electric Confectionaries enjoyed a short but vivid run in the early 2000s, including working with director Richard Bell, who, alongside director Anton Corbijn, produced videos for the likes of Depeche Mode, U2 and Nirvana. For 'Piece of My Heart', Bell combines clever editing and set design to execute a high-concept idea. Individually spotlit, the band originally appear to be performing in the same room, but a change in camera and lighting reveals them to be in four distinct spaces in a two-level set. The love song was the theme tune for television series Go Girls.
