Documentary Age Before Beauty drops six strangers — three young and three old — into a shared house for two weeks to live together as flatmates. The older generation of Betty, Ted and Iti (aka Eunice) must live alongside teens, Danny, Jane and Jamey. Their ideas about the other generation are challenged over grocery runs, home-cooked meals, and parties. The flatmates share frank conversations about unemployment, drug use and everyday life; revealing both divides and surprising connections between the generations. The documentary was produced for TV3's Inside New Zealand documentary slot.
