Births, Deaths & Marriages
- Comedy
When Sinead Hart (Yvette Velvin) gets ditched at the altar, the dramas have only just begun. Director and writer Bea Joblin teamed up with Robin Murphy and Ness Simons (the duo behind Wellington-based web series Pot Luck) to make this comedy set in 1990s Upper Hutt. After the Hart wedding no-show, the family videographer decides to leave his camera rolling — and he's spoilt for choice. Grandma ups and dies, and there's a birth pending in one of the bedrooms so at least the bridal catering won't go to waste. Geraldine Brophy (Joblin's real life mum) plays Aunty Ngaire.
