It's another rip-roaring adventure for city kids Tony (Ian Templeton) and Suey (Julie Wilson) and their mate Harvey (Buddy Ruruku) in TV movie Mad Dog Gang Spooks Wilkie, Wink Wink and the Wobbler. Penned by iconic actor Ian Mune, this sequel to the award-winning pilot sees the Mad Dog Gang spar with classmate Pickle (David Kennelly) whose skill with a slingshot irks Harvey. Old foe Wilkie (John Bach) is again involved in shady activities and soon the gang suspects a 'Russian spy' nicknamed 'Wobbler' (Ian Watkin) is at large. Bruno Lawrence makes up the villainous trio and delivers enthusiastic stunt work in a wild chase sequence in suburban Dunedin.
