In 1958 Christchurch architects Miles Warren and Maurice Mahoney began a long and illustrious partnership, designing some of New Zealand's most distinguished buildings and inspiring what became known as the 'Christchurch style'. Maurice and I examines their achievements, most notably the renowned Christchurch Town Hall. After the devastating 2011 earthquake the pair fought to save the iconic Town Hall from potential demolition. Designers, historians and politicians recall the fraught decisions hanging over post-quake Christchurch.
