This segment from On Camera goes behind the scenes of late-60s country music favourite The Country Touch. Busy with rehearsals in full swing, crews prepare the lights and cameras while producer Bryan Easte coordinates musical cues. Host and country music legend Tex Morton joins performers as they prepare for a lively line-up featuring Christine Smith singing ‘Let It Be’ with the Hamilton County Bluegrass Band, energetic square dancers, and Sammy Dee performing ‘Holly Holy’ with a choral accompaniment. The result is a foot-stomping celebration of everything country.
