After many weeks living as 1850s settlers, the Huttons spend one last morning in their settler V-hut, packing up their belongings and reflecting on the challenges of the experiment. Spending weeks living in a canvas tent while building their new home, the family has learned to appreciate a slower pace of life. Before they leave, Ross Junior celebrates his birthday, while Emma prepares to sing for the local church. Finally they must say goodbye to their colonial life and welcome the return to the land of electricity and water on tap.
