A new millennium and new beginnings, as seven families step into parenthood. Millennium Families tells the story of their first children, all born in January 2000. Filmed initially during the babies' first year, this 2003 documentary returns three years later to follow the families as they navigate the challenges of early childhood. Spanning different regions, cultures, and life circumstances, the film captures the ups and downs of raising young children, through the lives of toddlers Sean, Thomas, Larenz, Megan, Jordan, Paris, and Angela. A follow-up documentary, Millennium Teens, was produced in 2018, revisiting the families 15 years on.
