Fresh salmon is on the menu for this first episode of The Game Chef, a cooking show presented by restauranteur turned hunter/fisher, Angelo Georgalli. After working all around the world Georgalli spent time based in Central Otago; and for the opening episode of his show demonstrates how to catch salmon in Lake Hāwea. He then set ups his portable cooking gear right next to the water on a beautiful sunny day. He prepares three dishes with his fresh catch; a salmon omelette with asparagus and tarragon butter, a hot smoked salmon risotto, and a smoked salmon burger with hollandaise, dill and lemon dressing.
