Long before The Office, the New Zealand sitcom Gliding On told the story of a group of public servants pushing paper in an office in Wellington. Written by Roger Hall — the sitcom ran from 1981 to 1985, with six episodes and a Christmas special each year. This NZ Screen History interview looks back on one of New Zealand's most successful sitcoms, and Jesse Mulligan talks to two of its lead actors, Susan Wilson and Ross Jolly.
