Ryan Bridge

Ryan Bridge is a New Zealand reporter and presenter who predominately works in  television news and radio. Before landing an anchor role on The AM Show in 2021, he was a regular stand-in for then anchor Duncan Garner. Bridge's TV credits include presenting and reporting for current affairs show Story, guest presenting on Newshub Nation and reporting for Newshub Live at 6pm. Within radio, he has been a newsreader for Radio New Zealand's The Morning Report and hosted Magic Talk's drive slot. Throughout his career, Bridge has had a special interest in political reporting; he often presents and writes opinion pieces on the latest in politics.   

Because it’s a three-hour show you really need two solid hours at your desk studying in order to (prepare) for all of those interviews and to try to keep up with everything that’s happened overnight.
