In Passing

Romantic drama In Passing is writer and director Joshua Prendeville's first feature and, although set in Auckland, its mood and atmosphere is very much influenced by Prendeville's time spent living and working in Paris. In this trailer, musician Vincent (Arlo Green, from drama Rūrangi) reflects on his relationship with French actor Lily (Lydia Bensky). The couple move from scenes in apartments and clubs into the wild landscape of Karekare beach on the West Coast. The effects of the Covid pandemic meant In Passing had to wait two years for its international release on Amazon Prime.
