Hi Simon,
You can view more episodes by visiting Ngā Taonga Sound and Vision in Wellington. Here's a link to the episodes they have:

https://www.ngataonga.org.nz/collections/search?utf8=%E2%9C%93&text=the+games+affair&commit=Go

We're unable to upload more episodes due to contractual arrangements.
Hope this helps.
Natasha from NZ On Screen.

Does anyone know of a method of viewing the other episodes? This is a great piece of NZ children's TV - hidden away?

I've emailed the guys that made it to see if it's ever going to be for sale on DVD. Graeme, I too discovered this show in 1977 as a kid in Australia. It really freaked me out in some parts and I never forgot them. Injections, people turning into plaster statues, the guy getting punctured and going flat...stayed in my memory forever but I could never remember the name of the show and no one I knew remembered it at all. I even posted on TV forums searching for it with no success for years and years. Sometimes I thought I'd made it all up in my head...haha.

Was so excited to finally find a description of it somewhere that sounded vaguely like what I remembered as a kid and yes, it was the right show!! Would love to see all the eps online.

I agree with Darren. Not only can't we see the whole series from this site, it really SUX that it doesn't seem to be avaliable for sale and/or download from anywhere in the world. Not for lack of trying. I've googled it several times.
Grrrrrrrrr!

Took ages to work out where the dairy where the villains buy the icecream from, but I worked out it is Springfield Rd in St Albans. Wonder what the actors are doing now. Love it. thanks for posting :) Also wonder what ever happened to that weird car they drove :)

Thanks for uploading the 2nd episode. I hope the rest isn't too far away!

I discovered this series in 1977 in Australia on the ABC when I was 11. I discovered it because it preceeded Doctor Who.

Whilst I didn't watch the series every week or pay any real attention to the plot, I remember one scene where a women in the crowd at the games was hit by the chemical sprayed by the villians. Then she sprinted across the race track at break-neck speed leaving for dead the other athletes! It was so hilarious I was laughing my head off!

Excellent, wonderful to see this series again after 37 years! It still looks great, truly the start of a golden age in children's television prgrammes in New Zealand! Thanks again!

It's made all the more harsher seeing there is no legitimate means of buying it here in the rest of the world. Regional copyright agreements are retro, but in a bad way....

Yes, apologies for that Darren. We really don't like having to geo-block titles, but occasionally we have to for copyright reasons to do with international license agreements that production companies hold. We make the call that it is better for our NZ site visitors to be able to see the title than no-one, but feel bad for our expat visitors.

Sad to see this is only for folk in NZ - So much for the WORLD wide web...

Thank you so much for making the second episode available! This brings back many happy memories - especially the crazy science and the equally crazy 2CV the Villains drove! Please PLEESE can you put up the next episode?
