The Grass is Greener

Television, 1991

The Grass is Greener explores the role Australia has played in the careers of six notable Kiwis working in entertainment, the arts and journalism. The half-hour episodes profile director Jane Campion, director turned actor Sam Neill, comedian and writer John Clarke, Dragon musicians Marc and Todd Hunter, promoter/agent Harry M Miller, and current affairs host Derryn Hinch. The series was produced by Judy Rymer (who directed three episodes) and cameraman Bayly Watson (Carmen). Watson died soon after working on it.
