Aftershock - Would You Survive?

Television (Excerpts) – 2008

In 2008 Gibson Group produced the award-winning telefilm Aftershock, imagining Wellington devastated by a massive earthquake. The following week companion documentary Would You Survive? screened, which tested how a Kāpiti Coast family handled a simulated large quake. Presenter and international disaster responder Dave Neru visits Cathy, Brent, Lizzy, Doug and Sam as they live without outside assistance for three days and nights. This excerpt sees the family test their first aid skills, ability to withstand hunger, and their morals when they have to resort to stealing.

It's a good idea to actually ration your food. A good hint is less more often.
– Word of advice from presenter and international disaster responder Dave Neru
