About
This collection of Tonight at Nine skits sees Fred Dagg discussing almost everything under the sun, while being interviewed by real life journalists. Clarke riffs on issues like foreign policy, corruption, and nuclear power. In the tenth clip he takes satirical aim at raids on Pacific Island overstayers. A number of the sketches involve Dagg's political party; he manages to take an upbeat view on having scored a single vote in the election. The sixteenth clip offers a musical love letter to life on the farm, followed by an uncharacteristically nervous Dagg facing technical problems while presenting the news.
