This supernatural tween series follows the adventures of bumbling teenage witch Leith (Linus Lloyd) and their sassy little sister Cole (Roshaniah Leo'o), as they try to survive summer holidays in a haunted house. In this opening episode, Leith accidentally releases cheeky poltergeist Sunny (Jenny Mingxi Easton) while performing a love spell. Made by and for the Rainbow community, Little Apocalypse is the first children's show made in Aotearoa to have openly queer protagonists. Notable features include quirky puppets, a historic Wellington house and acting matriarch Geraldine Brophy (Shortland Street) in the role of Nanny.
