Pecking Order

Pecking Order leaps into the world of bird breeding. The "feelgood flockumentary" explores the personalities, power plays and best-in-show passions of the 148-year-old Christchurch Poultry, Bantam and Pigeon Club, as members prepare for the national championships. Radio New Zealand critic Simon Morris called the film "hugely entertaining". Director Slavko Martinov earlier conned many viewers with the YouTube release of Propaganda, a mockumentary he described as "a social experiment about propaganda". Pecking Order screened in multiple international film festivals where it garnered a number of award nominations.
