From the Album Came A Weird Way (1997)

Teaming up with fellow Deepgrooves artist Sulata on vocals, The New Loungehead’s 'Cloth' captures their fusion of musical styles, which included jazz, drum'n'bass, funk, hip hop and dub. Shot by Marc Swadel in downtown Auckland, the band members are introduced individually, brandishing their instruments for the camera before Sulata comes in with smooth vocals and The New Loungehead are seen playing together — their live chemistry the stuff of legend for New Zealand audiences. 'Cloth' is taken from the band’s award-winning debut album Came A Weird Way, released in 1997, which would be their sole release.
