From the Single (1992)
This music video for ‘Dangerous Game’ — the 1992 dance single by Jules Issa — starts with Issa dancing and Māori warriors wielding taiaha, before heading out into the streets. Released as a solo single after Issa had spent time in band The Twelve Tribes of Israel, 'Dangerous Game' was included on the first compilation album by Auckland indie label Deepgrooves. It is a cover of a 1983 reggae number pushing an anti-violence theme, by Kiwi group Diatribe. The ‘Descent into Bass’ remix of Issa's version won radio airplay on London dance station Kiss FM.
