After shooting gang member Rat in episode three, in revenge for the murder of his wife and baby, Dean Stirling (Ted Clarke) now faces trial for murder. Criminal lawyer David Silesi (Jay Laga’aia) takes on his defence, arguing that grief drove him to kill. But proving his state of mind will be more difficult. With the help of a psychiatrist and an anti-gang protest group, David searches for evidence to support his case, but with Dean’s wife murdered for testifying in an earlier case, finding people willing to speak could prove deadly. Meanwhile, Joni has her gym fling complicated when former love interest Kees Van Dam re-enters the picture.
