New Zealand's landscape provided many iconic filming locations for The Lord of the Rings trilogy; this documentary series explores the environmentalist issues that affect this world-famous land. Much like The Shire, Aotearoa is known for agriculture, and this episode is all about farming. Director David Jacobs tackles such heady issues as greenhouse gas emissions, climate change, organic farming and New Zealand's huge export market. The episode includes interviews with dairy co-operative Fonterra, iwi Ngāti Tūwharetoa and the busy farmers on the ground. The show is narrated by The Lord of the Rings actor Craig Parker.
