The first film by Guy Pigden and Harley Neville featured zombies. Fifteen years later their debut feature was born. As shown in this opening clip, Neville stars as a naive film school graduate who begins work on a zombie movie, shortly before genuine zombies invade the set. The horror comedy was shot in and around Dunedin as part of short-lived low budget scheme Escalator. Pigden was nominated for Best Feature Screenplay and Emerging Writer at the 2015 NZ Writers Guild Awards. The film was given a multi-platform release after good reactions overseas: viewers requested a local cinema screening via website Tugg.
