I'm a professional Minister of Finance that happened to be Prime Minister for a while, but the thing that gave me the biggest thrill had nothing to do with any of that. It was just my wife and I and the Queen having lunch together at Buckingham Palace. Just the three of us, with the little corgis around the bottom of the table, the Queen taking little bits and dropping them to the corgis.
