Six catches up with friends from season one that have turned a new page, and some that have been homeless since as young as 16. In Whangārei, she visits community support hub Open Arms (episode three and four) who eliminate food waste and feed rough sleepers. Back in Tāmaki Makaurau, Six observes the tireless work of volunteers and charitable organisations who strive to provide safe accommodation, care and resources for streeties.
