Milk, cheese and wool are in the spotlight in this episode of Rural Delivery, a magazine-style series showcasing our farming and agriculture sector. FarmWise consultant Ryan Anderle explains how dairy farmers could cut costs and increase profits by switching to once-a-day milking. At the Talbot Forest Cheese Company in Geraldine, cheesemaker Paul Fitzsimons gives a tour of the factory and shows how locally-sourced milk is transformed into artisan cheeses. In an interview, Dr Andrew West from AgResearch shows off the innovative wool research that helped craft his brand-new suit. 

It's not the only reason why people are going once-a-day farming. There are huge sorts of other factors like ‘happy cow, happy farmer’ sort of thing, once-a-day cows are generally happier cows.
