The Topp Twins and the APO - William Tell Overture

Television (Excerpts) – 2010

In April 2010 Auckland's Town Hall hosted a concert featuring the Topp Twins and the Auckland Philharmonic Orchestra. In this excerpt, a glammed up Camp Mother (Lynda Topp) plays the fastest spoons in Aotearoa, while accompanying the players on the famous William Tell Overture. She's assisted by Camp Leader (Jools Topp) who has swapped cymbals for hub caps but is having trouble nailing her cues. The concert was filmed for a Qantas Award-winning TV special hosted by "self-appointed ambassadors of the arts" Prue and Dilly  who Topp Twins fans may find familiar..

– Jools Topp on the Topp Twins' "old-fashioned" style of entertainment, Stuff, 24 August 2019
