In 1998 two South Auckland students with a bootleg T-shirt business and an ear for talent formed Dawn Raid Entertainment. By 2005 Andy Murnane and Danny Leaosavai’i's stable of acts were representing their Otara community on the world stage — until tax and trust issues ended the record label's run. Directed by the multitalented Oscar Kightley (Sione's Wedding), this documentary charts Dawn Raid's roller coaster ride from the Otara market to American arenas to an enduring place in Kiwi music history. Featured are interviews with artists Savage and Mareko, amongst others.
