In this striking and surrealistic animated short, a hard-nosed detective elicits a shocking — and bizarre — confession from a murder suspect. All the while the detective is being haunted by the ghost of his mother in the form of a psychedelic skull, before an unexpected entity pops up to sing a catchy theme song. It was the second time the Avatards team delivered a warped dark comedy to 48Hours, giving the filmmaking contest an injection of raw and jittery originality.
