In 1942 New Zealand was at war; rumours of the enemy were rife. In stepped career criminal Sydney Ross, who managed to convince the Prime Minister of a nefarious 'Nazi plot' and was taken under the wing of Security Intelligence Bureau chief Kenneth Folkes. This TV movie is adapted from Hugh Price's book The Plot to Subvert Wartime New Zealand. In this excerpt Ross (Outrageous Fortune's Antony Starr, who was nominated for an Aotearoa acting award) can't believe his luck when he is kitted out with a car and uniform, and given his 'mission'.
