From the EP Take in the Sun (1997)

'Take in the Sun' opens with a cascade of shimmering guitars, the calling card of ex-Straitjacket Fits member Andrew Brough. Brough formed Bike in the early 1990s, with Karl Buckley on drums and Tristan Mason on bass. Their first EP included this song and Silver Scroll songwriting nominee 'Save My Life'. Take in the Sun would also become the name of Bike's one and only album. The video backs the song's simple premise; home movie style Super 8 images of a Mexican holiday flash by, the coast beckons, children paddle, and the water sparkles and shines. Brough died in February 2020, at age 56.
