Artsville - Poet's Corner

This collection of short arts segments, Poet's Corner, pairs spoken word and performance with music-video style visuals. A raft of New Zealand writers — including Bernadette Hall, James Brown, Janet Charman, Roma Potiki, and Stephanie Johnson — read their work aloud, bringing their poems to life on screen, each in a distinct, stylised piece. The series also features music performances from singer-songwriter Rick Bryant with his song ‘Money’, and pianist John Chen playing Rachmaninoff. The segments were originally produced for the long-running documentary arts series Artsville.
