Oscar Kightley (bro'Town, Sione’s Wedding) returns to his childhood suburb of Te Atatū, split by State Highway 16 but united by community. He meets English artist Carol Green, who shares a sculpture inspired by local flora and fauna, and Mexican migrant Marcella Macias, serving authentic street food from her food truck. At the Croatian Cultural Society, Kightley sees how members celebrate their heritage together, while Filipino newcomer Edison Dumo organises a Neighbour's Day street party.
