About
Presented by award-winning comedian and entertainer Pio Terei, this series is a deep dive into the social stereotypes of misunderstood and prejudiced communities across Aotearoa. The series consisted of two six-episode seasons which ran from 2003 to 2004, with subjects ranging from the lives of solo mothers, to Asian communities and even car salesmen. The producers, AKA Productions, also made other documentaries that focused on race and culture in Aotearoa, including Pine or Pōhutukawa and My Kinda Kai, also presented by Terei.
